He is survived by: his children, Todd Burnett, Edward Burnett and Wendi Fabre; his son-in-law Brandon Brookshire; his grandson Rudy Fabre (Junior); his sisters, Pam Sims (James), Pat Jensen (Erik) and Martha Kunkel (David); his nieces and nephews, Tracy Kern, Julie Wright, Emily Watkins, Rebecca Kise, Tonya Grubbs, Ashley Grubbs, Sydney Valentine, Ken Harrelson and Jonathan King; and his sisters-in-law, Jody Valentine and Amy Harrott. He is also survived by many cousins and life-long friends.

“I'm so sorry to hear about Roy's passing. I talked with Roy last year and he was telling me some of his health issues. He was a brother-in-law of mine (when he was married to Teresa). I had talked with Roy in the hope that he would call and talk to his firstborn Edward Burnett lV I pray that had happened.
