With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Selfi Yolanda Rodriguez in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Selfi may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Selfi touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavio Garcia and Elva Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Jose Andres Rodriguez; her children, Julie R. Munson, Katrina Rodriguez, Jerry Rodriguez (Kristin), Jason Rodriguez (Denise), Jonathan Perez and Vincent Perez (Mandy); and her siblings, Maggie Barraza (Joaquin) and Saul Garcia (Maria). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
