He is survived by: his siblings, Alice Brooks and Louis Ferrel; his children, Stephen Ferrel, Jr., Gilbert Ferrel Sr., Christine Uresti and Adam Ferrel; and his grandchildren, Jazmine Uresti, Maurice Ferrel, Gabrielle Torres, Gilbert Ferrel Jr., Alexis Uresti, Ray Ferrel and Jade Uresti. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
