She was predeceased by: her parents, Hallie Crighton Pinson and Theo Walton Pinson, Jr.; her former husband John Leroy Jeffers, Jr.; her daughter Adrienne Elise Jeffers; her stepson Grant Hamilton Belding; her siblings, Theo Walton Pinson III and Hallie Margaret Pinson; and her stepfather Frank Colby Guthrie.
She is survived by: her husband David Hamilton Belding; her son John Franklin Jeffers (Laura Wood Jeffers); her grandchildren, Hallie Walker Jeffers and Charles Crighton Jeffers; her siblings, Harry Crighton Pinson (Karen), Elizabeth Llewelyn Pinson and Kathryn Pinson Davison; her in-laws, Mary Nell Jeffers Lovett and H. Malcolm Lovett, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Paula Arnold. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Christ Church (1117 Texas Ave, Houston, TX 77002).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Garden Club of Houston Memorial Fund, 4212 San Felipe, Houston, Texas 77027, or a charity of your choice, in Susan's memory.
