He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sons, Justin Courson (Maria) of Houston and Jason Courson of Houston; his brothers, Mike Courson (Alison) of Alpine, California and Dan Courson (Sandy) of Houston; his mother-in-law Nettie Jean Kostelecky (Bitsy) of Houston; and his granddaughters, Lucy, Calista and Celeste.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chapelwood United Methodist Church (11140 Greenbay St, Houston, TX 77024).
