He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard B. Watson and Bertha Holmes Watson; and his siblings, Betty Watson, Jerry Watson and Paul Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Wheeler Watson; his children, Tommy R. "Richie" Watson, Jr. of Houston, TX, Amy W. Lee (JB) of Georgetown and Beckie McAlister (Robert) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Reid Lee, Evan Lee, Carson Watson, Erin Blake, Justin McAlister and Brandi McAlister; his nephew Roger Todd (Debbie) of Greenville; and his nieces, Wendy Watson of Asheboro, NC. and Robin Watson of Asheboro, NC.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
