He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Henry and Barbara Baltz; and his brother Bloice. He is survived by: his wife Blanche; his siblings, Barbie, Rita and Johnny; and his children, Sandra, John, Vonda, LaShawn and Manon. He is also survived by spouses, 8 grandchildren, and 3 (soon to be 4) great-grandchildren.
While working as a teacher and raising a family, he received a National Science Foundation Grant to continue his education.
