Matthews; his brother Isaac Matthews (Vera); his children, Sheila Baker, Dwayne Matthews (Ruthie) and Kesha McNeil (Lonnie III); his siblings-in-law, Daryl Brown and Gilbert Brown Jr. (Debra Kelson Bennett); and his godchildren, William Norton, Andrew Kelson, Megan Haywood and Olivia Garrett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, cherished friends.
