He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Cain Hurt and Colonel William Clarence Hurt; and his brothers, Dr. Duane Forrest Hurt and John Nesbitt Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Judy West Hurt; his children, Micah Rollins Hurt (Mandy) and Melissa Jane Bradley (Buddy) of Houston, TX; his brother Stephen Michael Hurt (LeAnne) of LaRue, Texas; his granddaughters, Sadie Elisabeth Hurt, Haley Jane Hurt, Sloane Rollins Hurt and Violet Rebecca Bradley of Houston, Texas; his sibling's children, Nathan Hurt of Williston, Matthew Hurt of Anchorage, Jeb Hurt, Trevor Hurt of Austin, Texas, Loretta Young, Eileen Hurt and Paige Hurt of Palestine, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Hurt of Houston, TX and Sandy Hurt of Greenwood, MS. He is also survived by cousins, and dear friends.
