She is survived by: her husband John; her daughter Katina; her son-in-law Vasilios Mathews; her son Demetri; her daughter-in-law Elise Leonard Dale; her grandchildren, Anna Zoetsa Mathews, Constantine John Mathews, Jonathan Paul Mathews, John Demetri Dale and Vasili Demetri Dale; and her sisters, Demetra Laras (Tula) and Eleni Zaferes. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral (3511 Yoakum Blvd, Houston, TX 77006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zoetsa's name to the Benevolent Fund Medical Ministry at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral or to Holy Archangels Greek Orthodox Monastery in Kendalia, Texas.
