She was predeceased by : her father Edward May; her brother Jim May; and her son Rob Catching. She is survived by : her husband Robert Catching; her daughter Julie Catching; her granddaughter Olivia; her siblings-in-law, David Catching (Gail) and Betty Jones; her nephews, Clint Catching (Paula), Tom Catching, Chad Catching (Kerry) and Seth Carraway; and her pets, Blackie and Amos Moses.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Howe.
