It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Eugene Holloway (Howe, Texas), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Pearl Holloway and Herbert Holloway; and his grandson Dustin Holloway. He is survived by: his sisters, Jo Linda "Jody" Holloway Thomas and Cynthia Lou Holloway Stephens; his children, Robert Scott Holloway, Jay Eric Holloway, Amber Lea Holloway Taylor, Robby Carney, Kristi Carney Sanders and Lori Carney Zetter; his brother Steve; and his significant other Mary.
