He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Swaim and Winifred Swaim; his wife Lizzie Swaim; and his siblings, Billy Swaim, Patricia Buckner, Georgia Harrison, Jimmy Swaim and Richard Swaim.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christie Byrd (Jimmy) of Daingerfield and Kim Sweeten of Hughes Springs; his grandchildren, Hailey Hanna (Dylan) of DeKalb, Shane Taylor and Kristian Manley of Hughes Springs; and his sister Lola Stalcup (Jimmy) of Atlanta, Texas. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
