He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hejl and Nelda Hejl; and his brother Randy Hejl. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hejl; his stepchildren, Linda Hejl, Ashley Hinton (Austin Hinton) and Chandra Jackson (Leland Jackson); his grandchildren, Gray Hinton, Everest Hinton, Chelsey Dargin (Freddy Dargin) and Chasity Ferguson (Michael Ferguson); and his siblings, Joseph Hejl Jr. and Judy Yoakum.
