He was predeceased by: his parents, John August Rohde and Beatrice Hill Rohde; and his stepson Eric Dean Lightford. He is survived by: his wife Debra Rohde; his children, Michael W. Rohde and Billie Rohde Toland (Claude W. Toland); his stepchildren, Connie Calkin (Lawrence) and Dwayne Lightford; his stepdaughter-in-law Lori Lightford; and his brother John A. Rohde (Betty). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He had a generous and giving spirit and donated to many worthy causes.
