She was predeceased by: her parents, Karen Wiegand and Winston Preston Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Karl Rufener; and her siblings, Keith Leonard (Robin Rice), Mitch Leonard (Ann Leonard), Lynn McFadden and Pam McFadden.
Her plays include Moon-Crossed: a play in play with All's Well That Ends Well, and Tell Us What You're Doing We Want to Know How You're Coping with the Pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, Kendra would have preferred for donations to be made in her name to your favorite educational institute, or women's rights or equal rights organizations, or honoring her legacy by attending and supporting opera or performing arts performances of new works or new music.
