He is survived by: his wife Alice Attaway; his children, Kelly (Cassandra) of Spring and Tracy Smith (Donald) of Spring; his grandchildren, Laura Attaway, Kyle Attaway, Alyssa Attaway, Carli Smith Hodge and Skyler Smith; his great grandchildren, Ashton Attaway of Spring, Bentley Attaway of Spring, Waylon Vaughn of Spring, Liam Garabis of Spring, Noah Garabis of Spring, Nolan Vaughn of Spring and Ellie Vasquez; his sister Ann Almack of Abilene; and his nieces and nephews, Debra and Dana Cunningham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Kidney or Diabetes Foundation.
