She is survived by: her children, Deborah Kay Schmidt Gilbert (Joseph), Marvin Thomas Schmidt Jr. and John Felix Schmidt (Lucy); her grandchildren, Brandon Schmidt, Meredith Gilbert, Sofia Schmidt and Cameron Schmidt; her great grandchild Sebastian Simmons; and her siblings, Margaret Mahle, William Cook and Ruby Hruzek.
