He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne Archer Brooks and Thomas Alexander Brooks of Humble, Texas.; his wife Paulette Brooks; his pets, Maggie and Logan; his children, Monica Brooks (Cynthia Campman), Reed Brooks (Pam Brooks) and Michele Brooks-Cappi (Louis Cappi); the parent of his children Micki Brown; his siblings, Tommy Brooks (Cathy Brooks) and Anne Gears; and his granddaughters, Ashley Brooks (David Norelid), Madison Greenawalt (Matt Greenawalt), Grace Brooks and Sophie Brooks. He was also cherished by four nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Faith in Practice in Reed's name, Team 760.
