He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Meitzen Sr. and Rubie Meitzen; and his son Michael Meitzen. He is survived by: his wife Claire Meitzen; his daughters, Kelly Rosser (Greg) and Shannon Wilcox (Craig); his grandchildren, Tyler Rosser (Courtney), Amanda Rosser, Collin Rosser, Madison Gryder (Ryan) and Taylor Wilcox; his great grandchildren, Luke, Lily, Lyla Odom, Claire and Chloe Rosser; and his siblings, Margaret Simank, Judy Meitzen, Ronald Meitzen (Phyllis) and Bill Meitzen (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause close to their hearts.
