She was predeceased by: her parents, Asuquo Umoren and Selena Umoren; and her husband Enyemuyo Timothy Umoinyang. She is survived by: her daughters, Emem Akpan and Ekufre Timothy; her grandchildren, Jermaine Akpan, Jeriah Akpan, Jerrel Akpan and Jesutamilore Damaris Adeyemi; and her sons-in-law, Ekemini Akpan and Funsho Adeyemi. She is also survived by two sisters as well as several relatives and in-laws.
