She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Benjamin Silcox and Essie Lee McMullen (Williamson); her stepfather Ernest "Mack" McMullen; her brother Bobby Garner; her stepsiblings, Dorothy Maurine McMullen, Mary Dottis McMullen and James Bullock; and her grandsons, Jeremy Peterson, Jason Aycock and Little Richard Aycock.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Sontag of Humble; her children, Tracy Stokes of Humble and Richard; her daughter-in-law Tamera Aycock of South Carolina; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Melanie Aycock of Apple Springs; her stepchildren, Angela Duffy (Tom) of Katy and Dean Sontag of Katy; her brother-in-law Gail (Calvin Dauzat); her sister Sandy; and her brother-in-law Sam Hyde of Sante Fe, TX. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister.
