With sadness, we share the passing of Paul Dwayne of Hunt, Texas. Paul, born on January 5, 1944 in Herington, Kansas, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Capps and Inez Capps; and his siblings, James Capps, LaVerne Hays and Barbara Green.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Trent Nettles, Allie Ragan, Cole McCrary and Ella Capps; his wife Yvonne Capps; and his children, Golden Nettles (Scott) and Brook Capps (Lisa). He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren; and many dear friends.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 10:45 AM at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Dwayne's honor to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
