Edna Merle Jones Baker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Merle Jones Baker of Huntington, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Mae (Brumley) and Simon Eugene Jones; and her siblings, Richard D. Jones, Wynell "Nell" Roberts, Dena M. Jones, Pomeranians, Tiny, Tazz and Tink.
She is survived by: her husband W. D. Baker of Huntington; her daughters, Debra (Genard Cartwright) and Dena (Rory Dale Perkins); and her grandchildren, Dustin Golden, Alyssa Tant, Jacob (Taylor Cartwright), Dylan (Brooke Cartwright), Jace Cartwright and Kayleen (Randy Laird). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
