He is survived by: his wife Samantha Byars (Singleton) of Huntington; his children, Josh Byars of Lufkin and Keri; his son-in-law Scott Hanner of Huntington; his son Kaylan; his daughter-in-law Kellsey Saltzman of Pollok; his grandchildren, Amzie Kay Byars, Kallee Setters, Kraegan Setters, Brock Evan Saltzman and Baby Hanner; his parents, Elmar Jean (Gaskamp) and James Walter Byars; his nephew Corey "C. J." Plyler of Huntington; his parents-in-law, Alan and Diane Singleton of Pollok; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Plyler of Huntington, DeAnna, Brent Hurst of Rowlett, Wendy and Clark Snelson of Huntington. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
