It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Peter Chonody of Hurst, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph (József) and Frances Geröly (Franciska); his siblings, Joseph Chonody Jr., Mary Chonody Rojics and Emery Chonody; and his granddaughter Caleigh Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Chonody; his children, Todd Chonody, Timothy Chonody and Tonia Chonody Coleman; his children-in-law, Alicia Fernandez and Robert Coleman; his grandchildren, Christine Coleman, Andrew Chonody, Lindsey Pena and Caitlin Coleman Cook; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Chonody, David Cox (Sue) and Nathan Cox (Melanie). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
