It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Nelson (Hurst, Texas) is shared. Barbara, born on May 15, 1939, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard P. Curtis and Marion A. Curtis; her former husband Bill Linton; her son Mark; and her former husband Roy Glenn.
She is survived by: her husband Neal Nelson; her children, Laura Blalock (Tim) and Paul (Emma); her daughter-in-law Beverly; her grandchildren, Brandi Linton (John Skinner), Kelli Chadwick (Matthew), Jessica Wilson (Drew), Alisa Sky Eagle Smith (James) and Austen Blalock (MaKenzi); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Taylor, Milo, Zion, Lincoln, Zoe, William, Theodore and Natalie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church - Hurst (521 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053).
