He is survived by: his wife Janet Mary Lucas (Weidner); his sons, Stephen Wayne Lucas (Jacquelyn), James Robert Lucas (Theresa LaDuca) and Richard George Lucas (Joanna); his grandchildren, Brandon Lucas, Tanner Lucas, Madalyn Lucas Pinover (Tyler), Anastasia Lucas Morse, Joshua Lucas, Payton Lucas and Christian Lucas; and his sisters, Leona Rogers (Earl), Mary Quarles (Marlin) and Judy Huston (Jim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
