He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar J. Gaston and Lois Waggoner Gaston; and his brothers, Donald and Reginald. He is survived by: his wife Carol Rea Gaston of Hurst, Texas; his children, Michael Gaston (Liz) of Fort Worth, Timothy Gaston (Teri) of Monroe, Amy (Dwayne Williams) of Hurst and Susan (Jeff Brandon) of Crystal Beach, Texas; his sisters, Barbara (Doyle Cook) of Hamilton and Betty (Bud Chidester) of Lawton, Oklahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy (Terry Pyle) of Waldron and H. H. Rea (Lynnelle) of Bedford, Texas.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
