Though Gilbert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Barboza and Joseph Barboza; and his spouse Lilus Ann Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Marie, James and Carol. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
