He is survived by: his wife Karen Lewis; his children, Katrina Peebles (Clay), Karla Maynor (Shane) and Eric Lewis (Samantha); his sisters, Linda Brooks and Sandra Lewis; his grandchildren, Kayla Peebles (Mike), Evan Peebles, Melea Jones (Thomas), Grant Maynor (Hayley Maitland), Alix Adams (Chris), Cody Lewis, Suzy Lewis and Mason Lewis; and his great grandchildren, Annetta Adams, Olivia Adams, Juniper Jones, Owen Maynor and Layton Maynor.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home (1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Legacy Church of Christ (8801 Mid Cities Blvd, North Richland Hills, TX 76182). A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
