She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Hughes Bell and A. C. Bell; her husband Luther Jonathan Green; her daughter Cheryl Green; and her siblings, Dessy Rea Templeton Woods and J. C. Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Green (Michael Briggs) of Justin, Texas and Luther Jonathan Green II (John John) of Chippensburg, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Jonathan Tyler Green, Zoe Handy and Skye Rojas; her brother Leo Bell of Beltsville; her nephews, Dr. Nathan Templeton (Danielle (Nacogdoches), Michael Templeton (Cheryl (Houston), Leo D. Bell and Perry Starling; Renea Sandford. She is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, other extended family members, and dear friends.
A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
