With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larea Walker of Hurst, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larea left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Larea departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Larea may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Larea leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Walker; her daughter Kayla Venner; her son-in-law Gary Venner; and her sister Janell Laramore. She is survived by: her sons, Kyle (Leta) of Mabank and Kurtis (Julie); and her sister-in-law Jeanie Walker. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pipeline Church (625 W Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX 76053). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2301 N Sylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76111).
