We announce the death of Lynda Lou Gilbert of Hurst, Texas, who passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 87. Lynda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Young and Lennie Mae Young; and her husband David Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Scott and Lea Ann.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Lampasas County Museum as they have in their collection items from Lynda and her parents, Clyde and Lennie Mae.
