He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie O. Sander and Clara Saegert Sander; his wife Mary Lou; his children, Lisa Ellis and Donald Sander; and his sisters, Doris Randig and JoNell Haltom.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Trace Ellis and Skylar Ellis-Dykes (KayLynn); his siblings, Harold Sander (Jerlene) and Kay Hardcastle (Steve); and his niece Sheri Dyall. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
