Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ella Barry (Deeg); her husband Dr. Tom Summers; her father George Henry Barry, Sr.; her siblings, Robert Andrew "Red" Barry, George Henry "Honey" Barry, Jr. and Mildred June "Millie" Yantis (Barry); and her son-in-law Charles D. Holloway.
She is survived by: her children, Grady Alvin Summers, III (Judy) of Hutto, TX, Debra June Holloway of La Vernia, Jane Sijansky (Wayne) of La Vernia and Glenn Nelson Summers (Ashley) of Longview, Texas.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty beloved great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and three cousins.
