She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Luedeker and Frieda Luedeker (Rinn); her husband Cornell Giese; and her siblings, Vergil Luedeker (Carrie), Earline Blezinger (Eldie) and Quinton Luedeker.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Giese (Martha Carol) of New Waverly, TX and Connie Kersh (Ray) of Waller, TX; her grandchildren, Wil Hardy Giese, Kathryn Ann Brashear (Justin), Dillon Ray Kersh and Kassie Lynn Franz (Coleman); and her great grandchildren, Gentry Ann Giese, Cannon Carter Franz and Caden Cole Franz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Lutheran Church of New Ulm (211 Hickory Rd, New Ulm, TX 78950). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery (1914 Main St, Industry, TX 78944).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
