The memory of Francis Ray Scherer (Inez, Texas), who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Scherer and Dovie Scherer; and his brother C. W. Scherer. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mzyk Scherer of Inez, Texas; his children, Leanne Scherer Hempel (Roger) of Inez, Texas and Michael Scherer (Mindy) of San Antonio, Texas; and his grandchildren, Emily, Jenna Scherer, Falyn, Morgyn and Caden Joe Hempel. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (185 Kolle St, Inez, TX 77968). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
