She was predeceased by: her parents, Petra Tijerina (Castillo) and Jose Ramon Tijerina; and her siblings, Rosalinda Casanova, Agapito and Carrera.
She is survived by: her children, Juan De Dios Castillo, Jr. (Lori) of Sinton, Eusebio "Flaco" Castillo, Sr. (Tonya) of Portland, Joe Manuel Castillo (Melissa) of Virginia, Rosemary Castillo, Joanna Castillo (Aaron) of Ingleside and Rebecca Castillo (Anthony) of Bryan, Texas; her siblings, Alfredo Balderas, Sr. (Rachel) of Taft, Quaqin Soto of Houston, Texas, Juanita Soto of Houston and Angelita Tijerina of Taft, Texas.; and her close friends, Brenda Jones, Gloria Duran, Betty, Teddy Castillo and Jake "Tiny" Rios. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home (1345 S Commercial St, Aransas Pass, TX 78336).
