He is survived by: his wife Hilda M. Wernli of Pawnee; his children, Richard C. Smith (Joyce) and Susan I. Nidever; his granddaughters, Breanna Nidever, Meghan Nidever Neumann (David) and Kylie Nidever; his great grandchild Alexandra Neumann; and his nephew Norman C. Smith.
