She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Roy Hood and Katherine Newell Martin; her siblings, Linda Taylor, Edith Mae Polk, Robert Ray Hood and Billie Jean Martin; her daughters, Joyce "Diane" Evans and Carolyn "Denise" Hanson; and her grandson Austin Lee Cole.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Evans; her children, Angie Cole, Darla Evans (Robert Coleman) and Danny Evans (Delana); and her siblings, Ed Balunas, Douglas Martin, Dennis Martin and Denise Martin. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Iola Worship Center (23282 Hwy 39, Iola, TX 77861). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
