William Clay Roming Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2021, at the age of 88, William Clay Roming of Iola, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Roming and Alfred Roming; his wife Monie Roming; his daughters, Debbie Derbort (David), Jule Lorey and Lisa Evans (Mark Daphne Roming); and his stepdaughter Kim Nowell (Kevin). He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grand-children.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia Research.

“Clay & Monie were & are my dear friends for many many years. I worked with him & her on their farm -ranch , even renting his farm , helped with his Brangus cattle as well as building their fences. We enjoyed many hours of fellowship & fun. He also advised me on water issues as I was on the a water board! Most important to me was their help ( steadfastly) in my times of tremendous GRIEF. I have not will not forget HIM. I can testify he was Christian REST WITH THE LORD MY FRIEND!! James T.”
