We announce the death of Ann Dillard (Irving, Texas), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 91. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ann will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ann will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ann’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Speake and Lillian Speake. She is survived by: her husband Jim Dillard; her brothers, Robert and John Speake; her daughters, Teresa Dillard and Kathryn Kaufhold; and her granddaughter Aimee Broadnax (Dayarion). She is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews; as well as extended family.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brown's Memorial Funeral Home (707 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, TX 75061).
