He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Marak and Elizabeth Gerik Marak; and his siblings, Alfred, Raymond, John, Irene Jezek, Louise Jezek, Wilma Olson and Mary Lee Simcik.
He is survived by: his brother Ed; his nephew Ronnie Neckar; his sister-in-law Rose; his children, Antoinette LaBarre (Stephen) of Irving, Jennifer Clower (Scott) of Kilgore, Eddie Marak, Jr. of McKinney and Michael Marak (Barb) of Lewisville; his grandchildren, Melissa Velasquez (Joel), Jimmy Marak, Michael LaBarre, Aubrey LaBarre, Daniel LaBarre, Rachel Hurt (Kollin) and Gracie Clower; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Velasquez and Gabriel Velasquez.
A rosary was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (606 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062). Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Catholic Church (2323 Cheyenne St, Irving, TX 75062).
