With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances C. Atkinson in Irving, Texas, born in Gladewater, Texas, who passed away on August 3, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Richard Covert and Ernestine Thelma Covert; and her niece Kelley Covert-Seiler. She is survived by : her children, James Atkinson (Jennifer) of Surprize, Arizona and Leigh Watson (Doug) of Irving, Texas; her brother Dick Covert (Sheila) of Richmond, Virginia; her grandchildren, Shauna Pritchett, Anthony Pritchett, Jessica Ambrose (Clay), Cody Watson and Beau Watson; her great grandchildren, Braxtyn Watson and Kaladin Ambrose; her nephew Brent Covert (Nicole); and her friend Frances.

Family asks that any donations be made to a Childhood Cancer Research of your choice.
