He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Susan (Jason Weston) and Sherry (Bryan Newell); his grandchildren, Nicki Weston (Gilbert Ochoa), Eloy Salgado III, Madison (Phillip Davis), Alyson (Bradon Hull) and Abigail (Austin Alvarez); his great grandchildren, Malorie Ochoa, Grayden Ochoa, Hadley Ochoa, Adalynn Davis, Bexleigh Davis, Crue Hull, Ledger Hull, Weston Alvarez and Ada Alvarez; and his brother Horace Ransome Jr..
The Ransome family requests that any desired memorials be made to the Children's Ministry of Plymouth Park Baptist Church.
