He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Schilling and Ola Clark Schilling; and his siblings, Sandra Sue Swan and Charles Schilling. He is survived by: his wife Helen Schilling; his children, John Schilling (Julie), Barton Schilling (Kimberly) and Katherine O'Brien (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Nicholas O'Brien, Christopher O'Brien, Claire Stokes (Kade) and Jacob Wayne Schilling.
