He is survived by: his children, Dianna Marie, Richard Payne, Janie Sue, Gary Garrison and Paul Nathan James; and his grandchildren, Richard Bryan, Dawne Marie Payne, James Alexander, Chandie Marie Payne, Gary Lynn, Mitzi Garrison Jr., Samuel Wayne, Shelby Garrison, Paul Nathan, Karen James II, Katie Marie James, George, Annie Rawls and Emily Rawls.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (3801 Roselawn Dr, Denton, TX 76205).
