He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Solomon and Mamie L. Dantzler; his wife Sue Solomon; and his siblings, Walter Solomon, Genie Mott and Eloise Steinman.
He is survived by: his children, William Solomon (Shari) and Stephanie Colston; Dick. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
