He is survived by: his parents, Mary Torres and Eulojio Torres; his children, Victoria Rodriguez (Omar), Daniel Hernandez (Theresa) and Marisa Gamez; his grandchildren, Daniel Hernandez Jr., Angelique Howard-Griffin (Jarell), Alina Hernandez, Israel Rodriguez, Jasmine Rodriguez, Myranda Strassner, Jada Strassner and Ulysses Hernandez; his siblings, Robert Torres (Melissa), Mona DeLa Torre, Randall Torres (Desie) and Lisa Torres Mendoza; and his siblings' children, Zachary Torres (Elizabeth), Nathan Torres, Nicholas Torres, Alyssa Torres, Bethany Forero (Timothy), Brooke Mendoza (Oscar), Olivia De La Torre, Adaleya Diaz and Luka Diaz.
